Tucked away at the end of a country lane and with towering tree ferns hovering above, Gingers is a magical mountain escape where everybody has been considered. You will feel totally taken care of with all our unique touches. With beautiful valley views and a stylish, cosy, mid-century-vibe interior you are truly wrapped up in the rugged nature of the stunning Upper Yarra Valley. And yet you are only 300m from the iconic Yarra River and the quaint township of Warburton.

THE SPACE...

With its warm, eclectic stylish interiors, Gingers on the Hill feels like home the minute you walk in the door. We have created Gingers with everyone in mind and have thought of all the little touches, so you can just sit back, feel totally looked after and just create those forever holiday memories. It is perfect for families, small groups and even a romantic couples stay.

Gingers is in perfect harmony with the beautiful rugged surrounding landscape of Warburton, its huge windows of greenery, bringing nature to you.
And when you are ready to venture out, just wander 5 minutes down the hill to the ever-present Yarra River and then a further few min along the River Trail to the Warburton Village shops.
Redwood forests, ferny gully walks, the snowy peaks of Mt Donna Buang, summer dips in the river and the iconic rail trails are all just a few minutes away.

Gingers is a 4 bedroom, 2-bathroom self-contained house, with an open play layout that sees 2 wings.

- Two bedrooms and an ensuite spa bathroom at one end, and 2 further bedrooms and another bathroom at the other with dining, lounge and kitchen spaces breaking up the two areas (floor plan in photos)

The lay out makes it perfect for families and small groups to have their own areas to enjoy and lots of space for everyone to spread out or gather together.

Get the wood fire roaring and soak in the mountain views from every aspect. Lounge on the balcony overlooking the lush gardens and mountain ranges, perhaps whilst the kids explore the nature play space or choose from our huge board games, toy, book, magazine or movie selection for a quiet night in. Perhaps a spa bath for a relaxing soak? We promise you, there is something to keep everyone entertained.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm and then nestle in around the 10-seater raw edge Oak dining table for those special gatherings. Or the second more casual dining area for slow breakfasts or intimate dinners.

There are two lounge areas to enjoy, one with the cozy wood fire and the second with a flat screen T.V, USB movies, DISNEY channel and Wi-Fi is available. For those who appreciate some vinyl, there is a vintage record selection for you to flick through and then help yourself to our well stocked vintage cocktail bar to whip up something delicious.

The huge outdoor balcony with stunning valley view's, runs the length of the house and is ideal for outdoor entertaining with a Weber BBQ, or having a quiet moment on our hammock swing chairs or day bed.

Our landscaped gardens are large, lush and green with open grassy areas at the front as well as rear garden with stunning mountain vistas and our native plants attracting so much birdlife. There is seating in both front and rear gardens, hammock chairs on the patio as well as a pull-out day bed on the front balcony.

Waiting to be hand fed, the native birds are guaranteed to visit with Kookaburras, Cockatoos, Parrots perched along the balcony. You may even spot our resident wombats, possums and the occasional wandering deer.

If you are travelling with children, Gingers will become their favourite place! They will love our nature play space under the giant Himalayan Pine. Their imagination will run wild with our interactive handmade hidden fairy houses to be found around the garden paths, a tepee cubby, tree swing and so many outdoor toys. We love encouraging the kids out into nature so we have collected beautiful nature-based toys and activities that will keep them well entertained whilst you relax.

Please note - to ensure everyone is comfortable and keep our adult stays on the smaller side, we have a maximum of 6 adults (plus any children) unless prior arrangements have been made.

- A range of local organic herbals teas to try, fresh local ground coffee for stove top or drip, Nespresso pod machine (pods supplied)

- 1 full family bathroom with full length bath, walk in shower, heating, hairdryer and bathroom amenities. Separate toilet
