Magical Mt Ida

Stress of everyday life just melted away as we unplugged from our every day lives at the Mt Ida Eco Cabin. We sat on the porch soaking in the views of Mt Ida whilst listening to the song birds, and feeling the fresh air cleanse our souls.

This Riparide is one like no other - built entirely from recycled materials by the owners, you can appreciate its design and layout from the moment you arrive. We enjoyed the roaring fire, gas cooker in the kitchen, all the utensils we needed, a record player, a spot of golf, the vegetable garden and a BBQ all at our doorstep.

There was so much to do in the town of Heathcote, we ran completely out of time. We caught a sunrise at Mt Ida viewpoint, ventured to the surreal pink cliffs, had breakfast at Fodder and went to Vinea Marson winery - yet we had only just scratched the surface!

The best thing about the Mt Ida Eco Cabin is that you can experience it in so many different ways. You can spend the whole time relaxing on the property, or you could check out the wineries and great food that surround Heathcote, or you can go out for adventures every day. I cannot recommend this Riparide enough.
