Brunch At Synonymous

Discovered by Thom
Pet-friendly with rustic charm, Synonymous has locally grown produce, house-baked gluten-free bread, speciality coffee.

The best place for brunch in Medlow Bath, the menu will have your mouth watering just reading it.

The open kitchen adds a layer of the atmosphere - which makes you immediately feel a part of the Synonymous community.

Exploring Katoomba

Discovered by Thom
As small business owners and creatives, there is nothing we love more than exploring small towns, supporting local business and championing on other creative movers and shakers who are out there going against the grain and shaping the culture of their community.

Exploring Katoomba, you will find many small pockets of creativity and originality among the streets.

If you are exploring the streets of Katoomba be sure to;
-Peruse the extensive array of vintage and antique stores (perfect for a dress-up montage)
-Play the synthesiser and video projector at Steep St - you can literally make pictures dance! (surrounded by tea, chocolate & plants - what more could you ask for)
-Have a jam and test out some of the house-made FX Pedals at Birdwood Guitars
-Indulge in chocolate & popcorn pancakes & coffee at Frankly My Dear
-Share a meat plate at The Bootlegger Bar
-Play some good ol' board games and have a few sneaky drinks at Mountain Culture Beer Co.

Bush Walk To Landslide Lookout

Discovered by Thom
The views from Landslide Lookout will take your breath away!

A short, and easy walk from the road (no car park available, but plenty of space on the side of the road to pull over safely and park) through a bush trail will take you down to the cliff face.

Stand on the cliff face, and let nature romance you with the stunning views, and an overwhelming sense of small-ness you can't help experience when looking out across the gorge.

Blue Mountains National Park

Breathe in the mountain air, take in the stunning mountain views and reconnect with your sense of adventure by discovering in the regions natural wonders and a wide range of outdoor activities....

Blue Mountains National Park National Pass

This walk through dry eucalypt forest has wonderful views of the Jamison Valley and neighbouring cliffs, plus you are rewarded with spectacular waterfalls at both ends of the walk. Highpoints are the paths, which are cut halfway up the cliff-face that lead you to a crossing of the incredible Wentworth Falls, right next to the appropriately named Giant Staircase. Be prepared with water and appropriate footwear as there are some difficult sections that require reasonable fitness....

Cliff Top Trail

This energetic cliff top walk takes you from Govetts Leap to Evans lookout. You will be rewarded with some of the most beautiful and scenic views in all of the Blue Mountains. Be sure to keep watch for native birdlife, wildflowers, and many of lookouts along the way. As the sun shines from the east, this is the ideal walk to warm up on a cold winters morning.
Appreciate the beauty of the windswept heathland and the stunning she-oaks, banksias and mallee scrub. Make sure you pack your lunch, as Evan’s Lookout is the perfect spot to enjoy a picnic before the return walk.

Wentworth Falls

The track to the falls is short but steep. Leave from the Wentworth Falls picnic area and follow the track past two lookouts before descending 200 steps to the cliff edge at Fletchers lookout. Spend some time marvelling at the water cascading 100m to the valley floor before tackling the steps back....
