There are two suites at Southern Anchorage - The Coastal Suite and The Harbour Suite.

A complimentary continental breakfast is available daily.

These suites are perfect for the weary traveller and visitor to the Great Ocean Road, Otways, Twelve Apostles or Great Ocean Walk. A comfortable and luxurious room ensures your stay is memorable and enjoyable. Then there's the views- the sunsets, coastal and valley views, and sandstone cliff faces of the Twelve Apostles will be sure to delight and leave a lifelong memory.

For your comfort we have provided ample bedding, electric blankets, reverse cycle heating/cooling and all the mod cons needed to ensure a fantastic stay.

Our two suites have fabulous views and are very comfortable and luxurious. To lounge on our amazing cottage decks, with a red in hand, while enjoying the bbq's aromas, nature playing around you, kookaburras calling in the background... it's just so easy to be pampered by your surroundings!

Amazing bush walks and hikes are close by for any level of adventurer... from 5/10 minute scenic walks to the captivating Great Ocean Walk- all 108 kms! Then there's the waterfalls, Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, Gourmet Trail, rainforest walks, Otway Fly Treetop adventure... there's just so much to see and do.

Our views are sensational- with nature our greatest companion. Kangaroos, kookaburras, crimson rosellas, gang gang cockatoos, etc, are just some of the amazing Aussie animals that call Southern Anchorage home. A perfect base to relax or to use as a memorable adventure....

My wife and I have just reopened Southern Anchorage- formerly Moonlight Retreat. It's an amazing place and we love this part of the coast and world. We are passionate about the area and look forward to meeting all our guests. We just retired from 25 years working in schools and have had a huge sea/tree change! We are fortunate now that our kids, family and friends are coming to visit and loving Southern Anchorage as well! We have lots of work but every time people come back they will notice fabulous changes and growth... we want this place to be a premier tourist stopover! I have a great flare for making people feel comfortable and welcome, love the garden and hands on work. my wife is talented in the kitchen and in decorating the interiors. we make a great team!…
