Born in 1970, Mavis is a Coronet Caravan in fabulous, almost original condition. Her interior is light and bright, clean, comfy, and has none of the ‘mustiness’ of your Nanna’s handbag! She has many original features, but with updated furnishings and modern safety standards in place.
She has been decorated with all new linens, throw rugs, cushions, blinds, crockery and cooking gear. All the hard work is done for you – Mavis is all set for a relaxed beach holiday, or meandering through the countryside in retro-style!

SET UP IN STYLE
With Set up in Style it couldn’t be easier to getaway. Simply choose and book your own campsite on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria (whether it’s at a campground, festival or private land) and Cocoon Campers will deliver and set up your camper before you arrive. Your bed will be made with quality linen, outdoor mats and furniture ready for you. The kitchen in Mavis includes a brand new 3 way fridge/freezer and 2 burner stove top - with all the cooking accessories you need.
Once you are ready to leave, we will pack down the camper and tow it back to base. Just pack up your food and clothes and away you go. A hassle free end to a great weekend away or longer stay. Set up in Style rates apply to campgrounds or private properties on the Mornington Peninsula.
If your car has the ability to tow a small caravan, and you’d like to head beyond the Mornington Peninsula, then our Drive Away option is for you!
Rates are quoted on a case by case basis, depending on your travel arrangements and what you would like us to supply for your glamping experience. We would love to discuss your requirements with you! Simply contact us about this option.

Please also note that safety in an ‘older’ lady such as Mavis, is very important to us. She has a fire extinguisher, smoke detector, valid electrical safety certificate, gas certification, new axle and wheels (August 2016).

With nearly 100 walking tracks on the Peninsula means you’re spoilt for choice. Choose from easy coastal walks including beaches, piers, clifftops, historic sites and villages for a lazy coffee. Head inland for beautiful bush walks, bird-filled wetlands, pretty creeks and ocean views.
STAND UP PADDLE
Learn to stand up paddle in the beautiful Port Phillip Bay. Book a lesson with Peninsula Stand up Paddle who are located on the Sorrento foreshore during summer. The calm waters make for perfect learning conditions. There are also options to hire a board and head out on your SUP adventure.
Port Phillip Bay is a stunning location for swimming and snorkelling. Explore the crystal clear waters around the piers and take in the magical underwater sea creatures. During low tide it is also possible to snorkel the rock pools at the back beaches.
The Mornington Peninsula is a haven for surfers, with many local spots scattered along the back beach coast. If you are learning to surf head to Pt Leo or Shoreham and book a surfing lesson, after the thrill of standing up and catching your first wave you will be hooked.
PORT PHILLIP BAY
Crystal clear waters and long stretches of sandy beaches make Port Phillip Bay a dream on a hot summers day. Walk beyond the sandbars into gently lapping waves and cool off.
CAPE SCHANCK LIGHTHOUSE
Cape Schanck Lighthouse Reserve offers short walks, lookouts and picnic facilities in a unique 19th century light station setting. This can also be the starting point to walk to Bushrangers Bay, a stunning secluded beach surrounded by bush.
