A truely special and unique experience. Come stay in one of Australia's only Original Cira Gypsy Wagons. Originally built in Charters Towers in 1850. Still fully functional to be drawn by horses.
Heater and mini air con and fan provided so warm and cosy even in the coldest winter weather. Only 5 minutes walk to Elphinstone pub.
Also enjoy full access to our beautiful mudbrick home.
Guests are welcomed to have a cuppa and chat in the house when they arrive and when ever they would like during their stay. You are also welcome to enjoy your private space and your very own lavender and rose garden with a lovely weeping willow in the centre. Small farm with stunning views of the entire Metcalfe Valley and all the way to Mt Macedon. Horses, cats, dogs, guinea fowl and peacocks too. Close to multiple towns with many attractions such as Castlemaine, Kyneton, Maldon and Daylesford for visitors....

- Bathroom and toilet are located in the house (30 second walk from the wagon)

THE LOCAL AREA
Castlemaine is a very vibrant country town with lots of things todo. Saturday morning market in Wesley Hill (less than 10 mins drive).
As well as monthly artist and farmers markets.
Old Gaol (galleries, cafe with amazing food- and amazing view of the township)
The Mill with many attractions including Das coffee house and bizarre. which is opposite botanical gardens.
30 mins from popular tourist town Daylesford and Daylesford market is Sunday morning. Trentham falls on your way back from Daylesford.
Malmsbury 5-10mins away with Malmsbury gardens, bakery and Moto Bean cafe and The Stables for gorgeous pizza for dinner....
