Additional Information

The Bubble tent is specifically designed to enjoy the night sky, imagine laying down on a luxury Queen size bed and gazing upwards to see a full sky of stars! The tent works with the aid of a turbine that keeps replenishing the air inside. On sunny summer days it does get very hot inside so we recommend that guests don’t spend more time than necessary inside the tent between 10 am-3 pm. That's why guests use to have a private sun deck and bar to relax once they've returned from exploring some of the attractions in the local area, like Cathedral Cove & Hot Water Beach. The bubble tent is located on the same property as Mercury Bay Estate winery & restaurant which is just a short walk away.

Our house is within walking distance to the Bubble Tent and we will be available during your stay if you need us.

The Bubble Tent is located at Cooks Beach, The Coromandel on the property of Mercury Bay Estate Winery & Restaurant.
Cooks Beach is a great (safe) beach for water sports and we are within a 10mins drive of beautiful Hahei Beach & Hot Water Beach. The world- famous Cathedral Cove is also in easy reach from our location.
There are also great local cafes, restaurants, and a brewery.

The quiet, semi-rural area so no regular bus options available, however good local Taxi service. Recommended to have own vehicle to get around.

This is obviously a 'glamping' experience and part of this is the outdoor shower which is set among the native trees & adjacent to the Bubble Tent...so prepare to share your shower with Tui, Fantails & Kereru....these are our native birds, not people!...
