The local country town of Briagolong is an easy fifteen-minute drive from Wombat Valley where the local pub offers excellent meals Wednesday to Sunday and the Riverstone Cafe offers great meals and coffee seven days and Pizza Friday and Saturday nights. Supplies of fuel, food and other needs can be obtained at the general store and garage.

The Wombat Cabin is designed to accommodate up to 10 people and has 3 bedrooms.

This cabin is ideal for large families or other large groups who require the isolation that the Wombat Cabin provides.
This cabin is placed higher at Wombat Valley in a hilltop location with views of the high country.
Set in natural bush setting. At Wombat Valley you stay in early settlers style cabin, built in the drop log fashion of the early – 1900’s.
Wombat Cabin has a large open log fireplace built from local stone, which will provide ample warmth on the coldest winter nights. The kitchen is well equipped with all your crockery cutlery and cooking equipment you will need, large gas fridge, woodfire stoves that will cook the best roasts, for that quick cuppa in the morning gas cooktops and for that nice steak outdoor gas BBQs.
There is instant gas hot water in the shower and indoor toilet. Gas lighting in each room also adds to the rustic atmosphere. Your indoor fire wood is supplied at the cabins....
