The best of the country and the coast
Adventure in Willow Vale, South Coast, NSW, AU
You know when you have to drive through a vineyard to get to your vay-cay spot, it’s going to be pretty special, and although the skies were gloomy and grey, it didn’t dampen our excitement to chill out for a couple of days at the Infinity on Willow Vale one bit!
We arrived just before sunset after a stop at the markets in Jamberoo, and a quick meal at the local pub in Berry. Both super cute little towns located only 15 minutes away from Gerringong. As we drove up the winding road to Willow Vale, we stopped to greet a few friendly cows and absorb the view. We settled in at the cottage and sunk a few cold ones on the deck while taking in the sunset, framed perfectly with rolling green hills. The next morning we ventured into Gerringong town, only 5 minutes away, to check out the surf.
As we cruised through, we saw an old sign saying “Brewery” and had to explore more. We stumbled across Stoic Brewing Co, and the owners (shout out to Steve) gave us a recommendation for lunch. In the afternoon, as the skies turned gloomy, we headed back to the cottage for a bit of R’nR. Watching an electrical storm cruise over the mountains from the spa bath was a moment it’ll hold forever.
The next morning we hit up Gerroa beach and hiked across the dunes. The area has it all, as does the cottage. You have the best of the country and the coast all at your fingertips. I can’t wait to visit again!...
