Amongst the Bush, by the Bay.
Adventure in Old Erowal Bay, South Coast, NSW, AU
You can already guess the first thing we did when we arrived, and you bet it was sitting out the back with those fairy lights. A hidden gem like this one can be found tucked amongst the beauty of nature's greenery, a short 10-minute drive from beaches with the whitest sand in Australia.
The decor and art pieces make this place feel like home, along with all the little lamps in every room, making it even cozier. This excellent setting accompanied by indoor plants and comfy couches was one of my favourites about this place. This place slept 6 with three double beds and did we all sleep like babies in these comfortable beds (and I’m not just saying that). Great for a trip with couples, unreal for a group of mates. It’s hard to leave that back porch after waking up with the company of friends and a cup of coffee (fresh beans supplied by the host!), though what Jervis Bay has to offer is perfect for summer.
The bluest of water, whitest of sand and many beaches are all super accessible along with a creek not too far away that runs along the back of the property! Rope swings and easy access from the street allows even more to do, including kayaking if you’re into it! The hosts were so very helpful in letting us know their favourite beaches and places around, and we checked out Huskisson for its cafe’s, shops and club for a lovely bite to eat. The bush getaway in Jervis Bay was awesome....
