Home in the hills

When we first pulled into the gates at Moore house, we instantly felt at home. The lodge was situated on its own amongst the trees, with a vivid flower garden surrounding the entrance — the decking overlooking a small dam, with views of the alpine ranges at your doorstep.

The homeowners had stocked everything for us with endless varieties of tea, coffee and even a stocked and ready to go fire.

As the sunsets, you hear the surrounding wildlife come alive. With tranquil sounds of the Australian bush putting your mind at ease as you enjoy a meal and catch the sunset through the trees.

The entire home felt like a beautiful escape from the fast-paced city lifestyle. It provided the perfect refuge, with fresh pine-scented air, cosy beds and countless surrounding places to explore.
