Southern Haze

12 Apostles, Great Ocean Road

Live My Adventure Story

If you've been inspired by my story, please see my adventure details below.

Things I Did

Beach Walks - We explored the amazing beaches and coastal walks that the Great Ocean Road has to offer, taking a moment to watch the sun set over the twelve apostles is a must.

Tree top adventure walks at the Otway Fly - We aren’t the biggest fan of heights but we wanted to push our-selves so we tried the Tree top adventure walks at the Otway Fly. There are the highest of their kind and 25 metres above the forest floor. It was amazing, but very high!
Great Ocean Rd Nature park - The last place we went was the Great Ocean Rd Nature park outside of Princetown. We got too see lots of mild mannered creatures, our favourite were the Alpacas which we got to feed.

Places I Went

Twelve Apostles - one of the Australia’s most iconic natural wonders. Surrounded by some of the Victoria’s most pristine beaches. The surf also looked amazing! Make sure you catch the sunset.

Wreck Beach - was recommended to us by locals. It’s an empty beach complete with old ship anchors embedded in the rocks and sand.

Hopetown Falls - wasn’t just a pretty picture opportunity but an inspiring culmination of nature’s beauty. You can watch the falls as the cascade into the Aire River or get closer at the base of the falls.

Bay of Islands and Loch are Gorge
- you will be amazed by the sheer size of the cliffs. Marvel at the waves crashing against the rocks. The landscapes here are more haunting compared to the famous 12.
