Tropical Mountain Resort
The tent interior boasted rustic country charm meets stylish Balinese design. Grateful for the coffee and chilled water available in the room we sat on the balcony and took in the stunning surrounds, absolutely incredible humbling views.
We decided to spend the day relaxing on the property, fixing lunch in the modern communal kitchen before spending an afternoon relaxing under the palm trees by the pool. The water was amazing!
We woke early the next morning to the sound of birds with the sunrise beaming onto our deck. Inspired and energised, we played a round of tennis before packing the bikes for a day of exploring. We rode to the Clarrie Hall Dam just up the road where you can picnic and Kayak, or meet a friendly duck.
Our lovely hosts recommended we visit The Pinnacle Lookout our next port of call - WOW. After a fairly long gravel drive, we were rewarded with absolutely stunning uninterrupted 360° views of the Mountain Ranges.
We stopped in Uki for some local goodies before heading back to the accommodation. The absolute highlight of our trip, walking through the farmland and up a hill to the Fig Tree lookout. We were met with baby goats, cows and wild kangaroos. Timing a sunset picnic, unaware of how extraordinary the view of Mt. Warning would be, we basked in awe of the beautiful backdrop.
This adventure is one for the memoirs! Every moment consisted of sensory rewards from iconic vistas and hikes to relaxation and quality accommodation. Can't wait to visit again and explore more of the surrounding nature....
