Home for Explorers

After a year of waiting for road trips in Victoria, we were so happy to stay a couple of days in this beautiful and quiet farm-style place. Charleson Farm was very welcoming to our group of friends. Our host John showed us the property and the animals they have, and we could enjoy some cuddles with the ponies and goats.

The property is great for a big group of friends or family, and it has all the features for a fun and relaxing holiday. We had a great time playing table tennis and board games, cooking bbq, and watching the sunset from the pool. The farm is located at the highest peak in the region which will guarantee you a great view of the fields and farms and unique sunsets and sunrises.

On the second day, we drove down to explore Lorne's beach and waterfalls. It is one of the best stops on the Great Ocean Road to enjoy good food and good coffee. If you are up for burgers, the Pit Stop will satisfy your tastebuds.
