Simply Sublime Stables On Knox
Adventure in Romsey, Macedon Ranges, VIC, AU
Our adventures for the weekend were in the Macedon Ranges, our home base was the one of a kind, Stables on Knox. Home to luscious green fields, butterfly filled trees and a beautifully designed residence. This was the ideal location to venture out to local wineries, incredible lookouts and the soon to be opened Mount Monument.
The Stables on Knox had everything you needed inside. A fully stocked kitchen, with all the cooking utensils you can imagine, a gas woodfire pizza oven, bath, fireplace, two bedrooms and extremely comfy couches. You may even find some goodies in the fridge, like fresh farmed eggs from the property, handmade granola, and a few other locally produced surprises, but I won’t give it all way. Your gracious hosts Jo and Mike will welcome you in with open arms and help you with anything you need during your stay.
We ventured to Lyons Will Winery, only 15 minutes away for a wine tasting experience. Hanging Rock, which is only 10 minutes away and Camels Hump lookout for spectacular views. We just missed the opening of Mount Monument but it will be open in early Jan 2022. It is going to be Victoria’s own small version of MONA and it is only a two-minute drive from The Stables on Knox.
Relax, unwind, have a roaring fire, and soak in the views or perhaps explore and venture to all the nearby attractions. You will be spoilt for choice at The Stables On Knox....
