Ride the Durie Hill Elevator

Built over 100 years ago, this quirky elevator is New Zealand's only public transport elevator and it's still used on a daily basis by locals and visitors. Access is through a long tunnel and then it's a fun little ride 66 meters to the top of the hill, where you can then climb the memorial tower.
