The flat panorama of Whiskey Bay creates spectacular reflections in the water along the beach when the sun starts to go down. Each side of the beach as framed with the characteristic red rust boulders and rocky outcrops of Wilson's Prom, and these are even more spectacular later in the day when reflected in the receding tide. The wide beach is the perfect playing field for a game of frisbee, or just a gentle stroll watching native sea-birds like the oyster catchers and hooded plovers find their dinner in the surf....
