Nestled between the beach and the bush with relaxing ocean views, Arbies is the perfect place to holiday all year round with family and friends. Just a short stroll to the golden sands of Killcare Beach and surrounded by beautiful bush walks you’ll have everything you need for the perfect beach retreat right at your doorstep.
The Home:
Summer in Killcare is all about surfing, sandcastles and sunshine. After a day at the beach, retreat to your comfortable abode and spend the evenings relaxing on the deck with a gin and tonic as the sun slowly dips. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped making it ideal for whipping up a full family feast. For a more easy going vibe graze away on the deck with a charcuterie board and some grilled prawns from the BBQ. Downstairs you’ll find a spacious second living area, perfect for the kids or those that want to get stuck into a good movie.
If you’re all beached out then there’s absolutely no need to leave the house. The pool will keep you cool and the kids well entertained, not to mention the back garden that’s been the arena for many-a- boules tournament! For those that fancy an outing then make sure you explore one of the many stunning bush walks right at your doorstep. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, stop off at Hardys Bay to refuel at one of the boutique cafes, bakeries or restaurants and perhaps have a potter around the shops and art gallery.
During the cooler months the home will keep you warm and cosy after a day of adventures. Take a hot bubble bath after a long bush walk and sooth away the day. Once evening sets in, gather around the wood stove and enjoy a well-deserved glass of red wine and a round of Trivial Pursuit or rug up on the rear deck and listen to the surf.

The Area:
Killcare is the secret gem of the Central Coast. Surrounded by Bouddi National Park there are numerous bushwalks to seven secluded beaches. Killcare Beach is patrolled over the summer months with a kiosk and restaurant at the Surf Club. The southern end has the added bonus of a natural rock pool ideal for the little ones. Putty Beach at the northern end of the beach is ideal for snorkelling, fishing or swimming as it is protected from the swell.
The village precinct of Hardys Bay is a short walk away and has everything you need from a general store and bottle shop, art gallery and boutique shopping to cafes with freshly baked breads and pastries. There are some great restaurants for an evening out. Further around towards Wagstaffe you can catch a ferry to Palm Beach or hire out the tennis courts.
As this home is being offered as a short-term rental, we kindly ask our guests to familiarise themselves with the short-term rental code of conduct, in particular part 2.5 which refers to the rights and obligations of the guest. This will help ensure your stay is enjoyed without interruption.

Strict no party policy
We do not accept bookings for any social occasions of any kind including school leavers, bucks parties, bride to be parties or large birthday celebrations. We can only accept bookings for the purpose of a quiet getaway. If you are unsure of your booking requirements please log an enquiry and we will discuss with you.
Residential amenity is a priority for us. We have a noise curfew in all our properties of 9pm outside and 10pm inside.
Only those over the age of 30 can book and we may have a reduced maximum of adults allowed due to bedding configurations and house rules.
No pets unless the property is advertised as pet friendly or prior approval has been granted - in which case pet rules apply.
In order to secure your booking you will need to be familiar with the Short Term Rental Code of Conduct available on the Department of Fair Trading Website and contained within the compendium at the property. Please let us know if you have any questions in regards to this.
