Amazing place, wonderful spot to slow down and rest, very still in the trees overlooking the river. The bath tub in the deck under the trees is awesome but the whole place is beautiful. Bed is comfort...able and house has everything you need plus some nice extras like coffee, tea and pantry essentials.

Lovely quiet location, you feel quite private. A 15min stroll into town, 5min walk down to the river (you can get to the river by the backyard but it's a bit steep and tricky, would recommend the beach nearby the bridge)

The Historic Hampden Bridge

Step back in time as you visit the iconic bridge in Kangaroo Valley. With its old stone towers and peaceful surroundings, it’s the perfect spot for a slow walk, photos, and soaking in the charm of the valley.

Walk Around Town

A short walk from the property and you are in the heart of the Valley. The streets are lined with golden and auburn colours from the deciduous trees, a beautiful Autumn feel. Passing the Hampden Bridge, a large sandstone heritage structure, you can watch the kayakers cruising the Kangaroo River below. These can also be hired by the nearby Kayak and Canoe shop, if you'd like to enjoy this experience for yourself. I found great coffee at the Jing Jo Cafe and loved browsing through the various knick-knack stores of the main street.

While the emphasis at The Treehouse is on peace and relaxation, there is also ample opportunity for activities and exploration. Paddle a canoe on Kangaroo River, visit Fitzroy Falls; go bush walking, horse riding or simply meander through the sleepy village of Kangaroo Valley.

Mannings Lookout

A drive down a narrow dirt road and a short 20m walk from the car will lead you to one spectacular viewing platform that overlooks Kangaroo Valley. Mannings lookout is a lesser known adventure close by the Treehouse and would make for a perfect sunset location.
