Additional Information

Salthouse is a funky contemporary space that caters to both couples and small families. The house is in two 'pods' connected by an enclosed hallway, separate laundry and toilet. The first pod is the open plan kitchen/living/dining area with a fully equipped kitchen and gas fireplace.

In the second pod you will find 2 bedrooms and a separate bathroom (with sunken spa bath).

Parking is available for 2 vehicles and the front gate can be easily shut.

Walk the 1 min to the beautiful surf beach and return to the cozy front deck via the outdoor shower (with hot water).

Surf Beach is a quiet, relaxing and peaceful neighbourhood, set in the heart of Phillip Island, that is a perfect location to explore all that the Island has to offer. There is a bottle shop, coffee, and pizza place a 2 minute drive away from SaltHouse.

It's a ten minute drive to Cowes (major supermarkets, retail, pubs, restaurants) 15 min drive to the Penguin Parade, 5 mins to Cape Woolamai (small supermarket, cafes, pub) and 7 min drive to San Remo (supermarket, restaurants, pubs, cafes, retail).

What a beautiful place Will has provided. So comfortable and light, a complete delight! We had amazing beach walks every day with our dog and enjoyed the really lovely home. Will is a great host.

We had a wonderful stay at SaltHouse. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and well equipped with the essentials including an excellent coffee machine. The spa bath was just divine and we reall...y enjoyed sitting outside listening to the ocean nearby. Phillip Island was also a delight and we loved all the local businesses, beach walks and friendly people. Looking forward to returning soon.

If I could tell you my three passions, they would be travel, surf and nature! Call it a mid-life crisis or whatever you like, but there comes a time in life, where you just gotta chase that dream. The dream of finding a ‘surf shack’ that ticked all the boxes was the obvious way to connect these 3 passions. My wife and I travelled across the country, literally and virtually to fulfil this dream. From remote Tasmania to small coastal towns in NSW, we even looked across the Tasman, but finally we landed on the much loved, but still yet to reach its full potential, Phillip Island, in Victoria.
