Ripparoo is regarded as one of Falls Creek’s most popular lodges. Having undergone a major renovation in 2016 we offer very friendly, warm and inviting hospitality in a delightfully refreshed environment with (we are told) some of the best food to be found anywhere in Falls Creek.
Our 18 room lodge is in a prime ski-in ski-out setting and offers breathtaking views of the Bogong Ranges. Only 200ms from both Falls Express Chairlift & Gully Chair Lift makes it close enough to ski ‘home’ for lunch. It’s never going to be ‘cheap’ at the snow so we try to make sure you get the best value experience possible. The building is maturing, like us all, but the true memories of a great holiday are not in the lavish furnishings, rather the way you have been welcomed and looked after.

All guest rooms at Ripparoo Lodge have linen and towels supplied, ensuites and individually controlled Nobo heating.
ROOM DETAILS
Room configurations vary to suit your needs from single, twin, queen, triple, quad, quintuple through to six share. Rooms with a view (most have one) are always sold on a first in basis so if spending time in your room is a priority to you, please check first to avoid disappointment.
Ripparoo provides FREE UNLIMITED WIFI throughout the Lodge. Relax those weary muscles in our SAUNA or simply unwind around our cosy open fireplace in the spacious lounge and dining room. You can also rest &/or play in our recreation rooms – one with pool table and TV, the other with Foxtel TV & DVD library.
KITCHEN & LAUNDRY DETAILS
Ripparoo provides a microwave, sandwich press and toaster for your convenience at lunchtime – and fridge space for your lunch items and BYO alcohol/soft drinks. Our guest laundry provides a coin slot washing machine & tumbler dryer. Laundry detergent, iron & ironing board are also all available with our compliments.
Our guest laundry has an ironing board and iron, coin slot washing machine, complimentary detergent & coin slot tumble dryer.
24 hour tea/coffee facilities are available in the lounge area – including an interesting and diverse range of organic herbal teas and coffee (regular, decaffeinated, plunge.)
Your daily tariff includes a continental buffet breakfast, (a hearty cooked breakfast & afternoon tea during high season), and a gourmet dinner (three courses in high season and 2 courses in value season) (EXCEPT FRIDAY NIGHT)
Our BYO restaurant is exclusive to house guests, though space permitting, you may be able to invite friends for dinner. With sufficient notice, our chef, Alistair Matthews, is very happy to accommodate special dietary requirements. We provide a sandwich press, microwave and toaster at lunchtime. Our guest fridges provide space for lunch items and drinks.
Children (3 -14yrs) are served dinner at the special earlier sitting of 6pm – all healthy, home-cooked fare. Should your child wish to join you for the adult dinner, student rates will apply.
24 hour tea (including herbal) and coffee (including plunge, decaf) are available at the servery.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check in any time you like after 7.30am, and we’ll store your luggage while rooms are being cleaned. Check out of room by 9.30am for incoming guests and help yoursleves to complimentary day-use of lodge.
