Lovely experience for our little family. A beautiful location up in the hills, super responsive hosts, a great little playground outside for the kids, chickens, a fire pit, an original tram (that I probably travelled on!). Thank you to the hosts we truly loved it.

We had a wonderful stay at Tram 608. The tram itself was comfortable and cozy, meeting our needs for the weekend. Our favourite activities were the drive into Loch for a delicious lunch and gin tasting, then down the to Kilcunda for a beautiful scenic walk!

We had a lovely stay in Tram 608. Peta was great with anything we needed. The tram was cosy and cute. We loved hanging out with the chickens and exploring the nearby towns. Highly recommend for a quiet get away.

I enjoy anything to do with being in the outdoors. I have a happy go lucky attitude and believe everything happens for a reason. When im not at the hospital (i work as an emergency nurse) you can find me planning new adventures and trips away with my family.

Cape Horn Lookout
We stopped at the Cape Horn Lookout with some of the snacks we'd bought in town. It's a perfect spot for a picnic, with a table overlooking the beautiful hills and farmland. It was a bit windy, but it didn't spoil the gorgeous view; it was nice to cuddle up and spot animals in the distance. We were there on an overcast day, but apparently, it's an awesome spot to watch the sunset.
Loch Village
A beautiful little town where you'll find hidden gems including cafes, breweries, and farm shops.
Loch Brewery Distillery
Hand-made small-batch traditional real ale, single malt whisky & gin. Our gin tasting here was a delight. Expect to make friends with the friendly locals in Loch.
Loch Brewery Distillery
Just a short 9-minute drive from the Carriage to this intimate Brewery. The Gin and Beer tasting paddles were a beautiful afternoon treat!
Udder Hoe Gippsland
We stumbled across the cutest grocer, Udder & Hoe. They're all about sustainable and organic produce, stocking loads of local goodies to support the farmers and community. We had a bottle of wine and a few snacks here. We sat in the space and enjoyed watching as locals popped in and out. We chatted over a glass of wine with one of the ladies working there, everyone was so lovely and the atmosphere was so relaxing. This would be a must-visit.
Solid Coffee In Loch
On our way back to Melbourne, we made a quick stop in Loch and enjoyed a great coffee in this beautiful place. We recommend going to the back where the tea room looks awesome!
