Nulla Nulla Blacksmith’s farm is nestled in the foothills of the undeveloped Macleay River Valley, and grows produce without the use of chemicals on the forest edges of New England National Park.
The former horseman's red-cedar cabin, joyfully furnished by the hand of the blacksmith's overlooks the casuarina forests & the clear enchanting Nulla Nulla creek that traverses the entire farm in a circle, with old timber bridges on and off.
Perched on crystal clear water, in a beautiful simple forest retreat you will re-calibrate your soul and feel happy to be alive.

Book a massage in front of the fire in winter or beside the creek in summer.
Stretch & breathe ...calm your mind & body with a mindful yoga session in the breeze on the creek bank with Wendie.
Eat organic/chemical free veggies, freshly baked heirloom ancient wheat bread and drink fresh fruit & veg health plonk.
Or choose to have a detoxing stay, with healthy ingredients and recipes supplied to your cabin, and daily yoga, perhaps a massage treat.

Set up by an artistic blacksmithing couple the retreat has been tastefully furnished with thoughtful treats.

The cabin is super snug in winter with a log fireheaters in the bathroom and lounge, an electric blanket on the bed.... The low travelling winter sun streams into the bedroom & bathroom all day.

To beat the summer heat the cabin has ceiling fans, and outdoor couch fan. Relax in deckchairs or hammock under the shady forest canopy creek-side, inter-dispersed with cool plunges in the crystal clear pristine water.

Curl up on the deck's comfy couch...spend some time with your happy side... to the sounds of bird talk & soft water running over quartz pebbles.

Listen and watch.

Eat in or outdoors. The cabin has a self-contained kitchen, with microwave, fridge, gas stove and BBQ.

The retreat is perfect for a single soul seeking peace in nature, or a couple seeking togetherness in the peace of nature, a child (there is a fold down couch) and doggies (sorry but not puppies) are welcome also.

The delicious bathroom is accessed through the bedroom. With a roomy shower & deep bath, with oils and salts to bathe in whilst watching the casurina trees sway in the breeze.

Just so you don't double up ...the cabin has beautiful cotton bedding, soaps, hair products, bath salts & oils, crisp towels, tea, freshly ground coffee, olive oil, farm salad dressing, sea salt, ground pepper, raw sugar.... all organic of course.

I want to live simply and grow all the healthy food I eat & for others. I want to look after and be immersed in nature and to make things. I do not want to rush or be governed by money or clocks, or any of the false confines civilization inflicts on itself. I am kindhearted and contented. I wish to share the bit of planet I live on with others. I hope that when people leave they feel happier & inspired.

It was so beautiful and peaceful. There was no reception and the only sounds we could hear were the dozens of gorgeous birds... We got a great veggie box from the gardens next to the cabin. Thank you Wendie :)...

So you Have almost decided on Nulla Nulla Blacksmiths lodge for a getaway and have come to the reviews to see if they sway you to go there? I say “Why haven’t you booked yet?” You may have missed out on one of the best cabin experiences in NSW! Because rest assured I’ll be telling everyone about this place! I’m also 100% sure anyone who goes here will feel the same way.
Wendie has made us feel at home from the moment we booked till the time we left. Sadly the weekend was not long enough.
The cabin was very cosy and warm. Views from every window of the farm were picture perfect. The morning bird songs and crisp fresh air sets you up for the day. It literally felt like we were drinking in the the beauty of Nulla everywhere we looked.
I love to cook but decided to reset completely and have Jackie, Wendie and Guido cook for us. Think fresh, wholesome, hearty, honest and flavourful meals designed to enhance the produce from their farm.
Afternoon wine on the balcony watching the birds, explore the creek, set up a hammock and read, explore the bush, wander their gardens or simply just relax.
Nulla Nulla is a place to fully reset.... You won’t be disappointed.
