An off-grid secluded, riverside hut and campsite in Victoria’s pristine Alpine wilderness. Dargo is located in Victoria’s unique Alpine Ranges. 90km from Bairnsdale, 320km from Melbourne. Access from Hotham/Harrietville over High Plains Scenic Road.

This privately owned Dargo property offers a secluded hideaway in Victoria’s remote Alpine mountain ranges. Camp under the walnut trees, swim in the pristine Dargo river, sit by the campfire, have a steaming bush bath or shower, fall asleep to the sound of the river, wake up to your own private fishing spot and brew a pot of tea or fresh coffee.

Our riverside camp kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a peaceful, comfortable and easy camping experience. All bookings come with Roy's hut and outdoor bathroom.

Suitable for campers who want to enjoy nature. We are not suitable for loud music and "parties". Our house is located on the same paddock as this campsite however guests can expect total privacy. We stay away from the camp but are on hand should you need any assistance or supplies/ laundry/ tent fails.
