Dome Sweet Dome

OUR VISION
Staying in a dome is unlike any other building, it's geometry, spaciousness and ambience promotes a feeling of awe, peace and tranquility - a great place to relax and unwind! Our dome has been handcrafted with lots of love. Our vision was to build a sustainable, environmentally friendly building and we were fascinated by the sacred geometry of domes. We have used mainly recycled and natural materials and we make an effort to only use eco-friendly cleaning products and toiletries to minimise any chemical pollutants.

DOME DETAILS
2 bedrooms, one bathroom, can sleep up to 6 guests. The property is not suitable for children under 8 years.
Set on 1/2 an acre with gardens there is onsite parking available. 15-20 min walk to the local train station. 5 minutes drive to Wentworth Falls, 10-15 mins drive to the Three Sisters, Scenic World and the sites of Leura and Katoomba.

Our family lives next door in a connected larger dome. The smaller guest dome is fully self contained with its own private entrance. It includes a kitchenette with stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and some staples such as milk, oil and seasonings.
All linen and towels are supplied as well as toiletries.

Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor with a queen sized bed and attached bathroom. Upstairs is a large mezzanine level with another queen bed and 2 single beds. Out the back there is a covered verandah with a table and chairs and table tennis table available for guest use.

The bathroom is attached to bedroom 1, it is a large accessible bathroom with fixed grab bars for the shower and toilet, wide entrance and no step between the shower and bathroom floor.

Wifi is available as well as Telstra TV which gives you options for streaming movies and other programs through Netflix, Prime etc.

GUEST ACCESS
Connected to the main residence ( a larger dome) by an enclosed walkway, guests have their own exclusive space and privacy as well as private access. Guests also have access to outside areas including covered back verandah with seating and table tennis table.

PLEASE NOTE
Climbing stairs is required for the mezzanine area bedroom with the queen and 2 single beds.
The main bathroom is attached to bedroom 1 downstairs.
Strictly a maximum number of 6 guests including infants.
We live in a residential area within the Blue Mountains National park, a home to the many native animals who live here, some endangered. We do border bushland, and as such we can have visits from various native animals including possums, small marsupials, various lizards, skinks and spiders. Screen doors and screens on windows help minimise there visits however they still can occasionally sneak in especially when screen doors are left open.

During your stay in my listing I require that you are aware of and agree to abide by the NSW Government’s Code of Conduct taking effect from 18 December 2020 for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry. In abiding with the Code of Conduct, you also agree to:
1. Treat my neighbours with respect by keeping noise to a minimum and within acceptable levels
2. Not host parties or events that would disrupt the peace and comfort of my home or neighbours, and
3. Follow my house rules –

• Please park only in the designated area inside our property.
• As we aim to live sustainably and are very mindful of our energy and water use, we would appreciate if you could be mindful of that too and turn off all heating/lights and appliances when not in use and prior to leaving the dome.
• Please leave accommodation tidy and the way you found it. This includes washing up all dishes and cooking equipment.
• Maximum number of guests is 6 including infants.
• No extra guests after booking has been confirmed unless the owner has been given at least 12 hours prior notice. Any extra guests will be charged at the rate of $35 per night each.
• No open fires or fuel BBQs allowed.
• No smoking or vaping inside, no hookahs please
