The cottages at Brigadoon are set on 15 acres of natural bush surrounding 8 acres of rolling lawns, cottage gardens and large specimen trees, the property offers many opportunities for our guests to unwind and enjoy the good life.

Enjoy a stroll through the gardens and bushland. Relax with a book in one of the private garden areas. Enjoy a wood fired barbecue under a star filled night sky. Look for echidnas, wallabies, or wombats as you explore our forest.

COTTAGE DETAILS
Cardhu has a queen size bed, a lounge/dining area and a full kitchen with gas stove. The cottage is fully air conditioned and has an ensuite bathroom with a large shower recess.

There is a large private courtyard where you can relax under the shade of a magnificent old Silky Oak tree. Your private laundry with automatic washing machine and dryer is accessed from the courtyard.

We have four types of accommodation on the property, from romantic loft cottages to our two bedroom family cottage.

It was a lovely stay, the place is quiet and surrounded by nature which is very relaxing. Michelle has been very welcoming and had countless small attentions that made the stay even better. Highly reocmmended

Brigadoon cottages is a beautiful oasis located surrounded by lush gardens and bush, but still very close to moe and the highway. Ideal base to go explore Gippsland. The cottage was cosy, clean and well kept, and we loved our stay.

Blue Rock Lake is one of our region’s best-kept secrets. Boasting Mt Baw Baw as a backdrop and it is hugged by the region’ signature rolling emerald green hills. This slice of heaven is located only 15 minutes from Brigadoon Cottages.

Bike Riding

Bike Riding along Tyers Junction Rail Trail. Enjoy rainforest, fern gullies, seasonal wildflowers and the adventure of some creek crossings along the way.

Bushwalking

Located on the western rim of the Strzelecki Ranges, Mount Worth State Park includes 1040 hectares of Mountain Ash forest and native bush. There are several walks within Mount Worth State Park that range in distance. The walks explore a diverse range of native vegetation.

Tarra Bulga National Park

This has to be one of Gippsland’s most iconic walks, and it’s one of the most family-friendly. It’s a great walk to take in the flora and fauna of the Strzelecki Ranges, and a walk over Corrigan’s Suspension Bridge is the must-do jewel in the crown.
