Wow! What a stunning place to stay.
Cabin was above expectations, every detail was great. Bed super comfy.
When we arrived there was a candle burning, music playing and the fire was on.
Bbq was fantastic for breakfasts.
The best part....was the interactions with the cows and alpacas.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Seclusions! The cabin was so cozy and the views were stunning — exactly the escape we needed. A highlight for us was hand-feeding the highland cows and alpacas, ...which was such a unique and charming touch. We also took the opportunity to explore Lidsdale State Forest with the 4WD, which made for an incredible adventure right on the doorstep. Can't recommend this place highly enough — we'll definitely be back!

Featuring 6 log cabins all with private balconies, bbq, kitchenette, king bed, gas log fires & a corner spa bath. Pool (not heated), tennis court, communal firepit, friendly Scottish Highlands Cows & Alpacas await your stay at Seclusions.

Feeding The Cows
These cows know people = food! They came right over when they saw us near the fence, even before we had food for them! They were so gentle and we couldn't get enough of them! The baby calf was extra cute.
A Dip At Seclusions
The pool at Seclusions is AMAZING. It is set up with sun lounges and umbrellas with amazing views over the valley. It's also right next to the tennis court if you want to take a dip between sets!

Enjoy swimming, a picnic, fishing, canoeing or simply taking it all in while enjoying a book. Lake Lyell is a gorgeous spot to enjoy your day at.

While driving around, we came across Lake Lyell and its dam wall overlooking the valley. Lake Lyell is the spot for lots of activities - there's space to picnic, a campground, kids play equipment, a small cafe and a boat ramp. Parking isn't free so take a few coins.
Picnic By The Lake
Spend the afternoon down by the picturesque Lake Lyell. Super quiet and secluded with free visiting during the day, perfect for a later arvo picnic!
Japanese Bath House
The Japanese Bath House is located in South Bowenfels, approximately 10 minutes from your cabin. It offers an authentic Japanese onsen experience with multiple indoor and outdoor hot mineral springs, a herbal steam room, and a Zen garden overlooking Lake Lyell.
Secret Sunrise Spot
Wow, this spot was amazing! We drove through the pine plantation and it did not disappoint! It was still so beautiful seeing the hills and sky softly coloured by the sunset! The sun went down directly behind us, so we think it would be even better for sunrise.
Marrangaroo National Park
Enjoy swimming or relaxing while platypus spotting on the riverbank. Explore Lake Lyell by canoe, or, after rain, run the rapids down the Cox's River.
