I have one exterior security camera on the east wall at the front of the house monitoring the driveway.It is turned on.
Tampering with the external security camera will be an immediate cancellation of reservation.

Firepit:The use of the outdoor firepit is seasonal-we adhere to state firebans within South Gippsland, CFA.
Guests are advised to exercise caution and follow all safety guidelines:
If it is windy(Above 10klm) ,do not light the fire.
The fire must be attended to at all times and must be fully extinguished at bedtime or when not present.Use of the outdoor firepit is entirely at the guest’s own risk. By using it, guests acknowledge and accept that Driftwood Coastal Cottage assumes no responsibility or liability for any injuries, damages, or accidents resulting from use.

On the same beach as the Lime Kilns Walkerville, the opposite end of the beach are these volcanic looking rocks! Once the tide is out, I went exploring in and around the caves finding all sorts of hidden gems! Rock pools. Swimming holes.. Was super awesome!!

Walkerville Historic Beach Walk

Make your way from the boat ramp along the rock strewn beach of Walkerville North and discover the incredible history of the limestone mining in this area. You will find caves that house families of fluffy mice bats, rock pools to explore and a panoramic view of the crystal blue waters that hug the coastline. The sun with rise directly in the front of this beach so a sunrise or morning stroll will really kickstart the day.

Historic Cliff Kilns

Walkerville Lime Kilns still stand to this day and certainly worth a look! I walked along the beach as well as the walking track checking them all out! Limited parking so I would get there before lunchtime and there's toilets too.

Walkerville Coastal Trail

Approximately 100 metres beyond the end of the boat ramp marks the beginning of a walking trail up the cliff that separates the two Walkerville settlements. This trail leads you through spectacular forests and little creeks stained brown by the tea tree (melaleuca) plants.
