NEST AT BLUE BAY is a luxury couples accommodation situated in the middle of the two spectacular bays, Blue Bay and Toowoon Bay. Both beaches are just a 5 minute stroll away with the trendy local cafes and boutique restaurants in the village less than 200m away.

Nest is suitable for 2 guests (1 king BEDROOM + luxurious BATH tub, SHOWER, small KITCHENETTE, living room, laundry and carport) Bbq on deck.
We have a plunge pool in our courtyard at the front of Nest. We are happy to share with our guests.

NEST AT BLUE BAY is a newly handcrafted and designed space perfect for a relaxing, restful retreat or romantic getaway.

Focusing on spoiling our guests we welcome you with a refreshing drink, fresh seasonal fruit, milk and all the basic pantry items you may need. Chill out on your private deck and read up on all the ‘must do and see’ things around the area. Let us know if you’re celebrating a special occasion. 😊

My husband is a builder and my passion is design so as a team we work really well. I love to play with old and new pieces to achieve an eclectic, authentic vibe. We have gathered from near and far to create this. Hope you enjoy staying here as much as we’ve enjoyed putting it together.

We live on the premises in the front house and are always a phone call or text away if you need anything. However Nest is very private.

Blue Bay is a friendly beach side suburb consisting of surfers, coffee and dog lovers, holiday makers and locals just like ourselves. Leave the car parked undercover and walk everywhere or hop on our complimentary bikes and discover the bike track along the lake to The Entrance and surrounds. Don’t miss the magical sunsets from the longest jetty in NSW at Long Jetty.

About an hour and thirty minute drive from Sydney, an hour from Newcastle, twenty minutes from Terrigal and five to The Entrance, Nest at Blue Bay is the ideal romantic couples getaway. There is a bus stop at the village but an easy walk to the beaches, lake and the very hip and popular Long Jetty strip consisting of busy cafes, boutiques, wine bar and restaurants. I will list all my favourites in our little Nest.

PLEASE NOTE
With great cafes being so close you may decide not to cook but there is a small kitchen and a Ziegler Brown bbq on the deck. If you need any supplies just let me know.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Nest. The house is beautiful, cosy, and full of thoughtful details that made us feel very welcome. We really enjoyed exploring the area and had a fantastic time overall. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it!

We stayed at Nest at Blue Bay on the weekend for our 3rd year wedding anniversary and it was the best. We arrived Friday afternoon and left late Sunday morning. Kerry was amazing with communications a...nd gave us lots of helpful information that made our stay even more enjoyable. We have an awesome Vietnamese Degustation dinner on the Friday night. The food was delicious and it was within walking distance from the Nest. We took a stroll to Long Getty and hit up the cafe's there and a few of the local shops.

We were situated in the best location and was central to everything. We spend time at The Entrance promenade doing a bit of fishing and lazing about in the sun.

The Nest has the best decor and furnishings. The bathroom was magical and the bed......I never wanted to get out of it.

The cheese platter and bubbles on arrival was soooo brilliant and meant we could just unload our bags and sit down straight away to enjoy the place.

Would definitely stay here again.

The Nest was superb. Stylish, roomy for two and immaculately clean. It was also only a short walk to the beach and local shops. And to top it off Kerry and Brad were very hospitable hosts, offering us plenty of local knowledge. Highly recommend.

Bike Riding At Blue Bay

Nest has bikes on offer for you to use. We made the most of them and explored the local streets, beaches and cafes. They are all within close proximity to one another and it was the perfect way to spend the morning.

Swimming And Surfing

The beautiful Toowoon Bay Beach is picturesque spot for swimming, surfing and snorkelling. The beach is patrolled and curves 700 metres along the coast. Little Bay Beach is a popular spot where gentle waves roll into shore.

Experience the most beautiful sunsets at Long Jetty. The sun sets over the water, so it's a great spot for an afternoon walk to experience the scenic surrounds.

There is a bike path along the foreshore, which leads you to the shallow waterway. The perfect spot for kayaking and stand up paddle. The estuary is also the place to spot pelicans and black swans.

Picnic point reserve is only a 5-minute drive down the road. It has beautiful views of the beaches that run down the coastline. It's a great spot to stop and enjoy the view with a picnic. There are also some little bushwalks that can be taken from here too!
