⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A beautiful, peaceful escape
Dear Marianne & Adrian,
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful little piece of Kurrajong Heights with us. Rustic Spirit was exactly what we were looking for —... peaceful, quiet and incredibly relaxing.
The cabin has such a wonderful classic, old-world feel that you just don’t get in modern accommodation. From the beautiful timber floors and cosy fireplace to the huge deck surrounded by trees, every part of the place feels warm, comfortable and full of character.
We especially loved being able to sit out on the deck, surrounded by the bush, with nothing but the sounds of nature around us. Then coming inside, lighting the fire and settling in made it incredibly easy to switch off from everyday life and simply relax.
The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The setting really is something special — you feel completely tucked away amongst the trees while still having all the comforts of a proper home.
Rustic Spirit is a perfect place to slow down, unwind and recharge. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily come back again.

Marianne & Adrian were exceptional hosts, extremely accomodating and kind, offering homemade breakfast each morning. The cabin was cozy and offered the perfect escape away from the city for the weekend!

A Few Options For Food Start With Hive Cafe
If you're like us, it's not uncommon that Andy will eat anything while I'm a bit more particular about my diet. In the morning he was starving so he grabbed a hot meat pie from the Pie in The Sky shop at the top of the road. However, I don't eat gluten or dairy, so we needed to find me a little something before beginning our day. A 15 min drive up the road took us to Hive Cafe, where I had all my dietary needs met. They had smoothies, and GF toasties and treats (as well as glutinous ones) and coffee and chai and all the things someone as picky as me needs to satiate hunger.

The area has magnificent bushland and rainforest, walks and canyons as well as historic houses and grand exotic gardens, some of which are open to the public.
