Parkvale Log Cabin is a self-contained cabin, located only 15 minutes from Bairnsdale in Victoria’s lovely East Gippsland region.
Each cabin is privately situated in a natural bush setting. These cabins are great for the whole family or the quiet getaway. Relax on the balcony overlooking the beautiful surrounding bushland. Or in the colder months enjoy a cosy night inside in front of the fire.
Our house is also on the property, but YOUR PRIVACY IS ASSURED. The cabins are nestled in the bush off to the side of our long driveway and separated from each other. We are never too far away if you require anything but will not unnecessarily bother you otherwise.
Firewood for the combustion heaters is provided in the cooler months only.
e.g. primarily when the night time temperatures are in single figures.
The cabins all have reverse cycle air conditioning/heaters that are more than capable of heating or cooling an entire cabin. Electric blankets are supplied for the queen size bed in winter months.
For the outside fire pits(subject to local fire restrictions), firewood can be scavenged in all directions in the surrounding bush. We sometimes have branches etc next to fire pits for burning.

It was lovely staying at Parkvale Log Cabins. Nice and cosy, beautiful surrounds and the bed was super comfy. Kids loved being able to wander around outside and watch the birds fly to the feeder. So m...any things to do locally, the Buchan caves, watering holes and beautiful cafes and pub meals. Special mentions- The Royal Caves are a must see & were perfect for our 3 & 4 year old girls. The food and atmosphere at The cafe The Willow Buchan Valley has the best brunch food EVER!

We had such a cozy stay at Parkvale Log Cabin, honestly the perfect escape from the busy routine. The place is beautifully secluded, giving you that peaceful, off-the-grid feel while still being super... comfortable. We spent the evening by the fire, which made the whole experience even better.
The hosts were amazing, friendly, helpful, and made sure everything was just right for us. The drive in itself was a highlight, with plenty of scenic views along the way that really set the mood for the trip.
If you’re looking to unwind, disconnect, and enjoy some quiet time in nature, this place is a definite yes from us!

Parkvale Cabins is a small business operated by my partner & I. We have young adult children and love the bush. We totally respect the privacy of all our guests and will not unnecessarily bother you.(We know from experience how annoying that is!!)

Buchan caves you didn't let me down! Paid tours is the only way you can access these my friends but it was worth your dollar bucks! I did both the Fairy Cave and Royal. Both of them were awesome. There's several bush walks around here as well as camping too!
