ACCESS IS VIA BLACKHEATH:
Amazing views of Blue Mountains cliffs and farmland from one of two architect designed eco-friendly cabins on our property. On 250acres with opportunities to take scenic walks and take a horse ride (adjoining property / additional cost). You will feel remote yet be a short drive from Sydney. Close to Blue Mountains National Park for bush walks, canyoning, abseiling & rock climbing, the village of Blackheath (think cafes, quirky shops) and foodie destinations like wineries in Megalong Valley and Logan Brae Apple Orchard.
We choose not to provide WiFi or even have general TV reception.... you can choose to unplug from the world (However there is still 3-4G phone reception)
We have 2 cabins close to each other.
Our cabins are designed to be eco friendly and have a uniquely Australian feel in their design. Lots of timber has been used in their construction. They both have amazing views of the Blue Mountains escarpment. Opportunities to see horses and also native wildlife and birdlife.

Additional Information
CABIN DETAILS
2 bedroom cabin has 1 queen bed and 1 double bed.
You will have access to an entire cabin.
Please note that our tariff reflects how many guests are occupying the cabin. If you are booking as a couple, then our starter rate is lower rate than if 2 couples book the cabin together, as only one of the bedrooms needs to be occupied. Please indicate number of guests you are booking for so an accurate price is generated.
You will have full access to a large yard and a gas BBQ on your own deck, private entrance.
As the situation around Covid-19 (Coronavirus) continues to evolve, we wanted to let you know what ADDITIONAL precautions we're taking to ensure your health and safety and to give you some peace of mind.
Our cleaning practices have always aimed for high hygiene....just look at the comments in the reviews from our guests in the past!
We have always sprayed all surfaces with Glen 20 spray disinfectant. Now we wear gloves when cleaning and preparing your cabin and we follow this up with wiping of all light switches and door handles with disinfectant as we depart the cabin after cleaning.
We have always provided anti-bacterial hand wash in bathrooms and continue to do so.
We will be following government and health department guidelines on social distancing.
There are only 2 cabins on our 250acre property. Both have their own separate entrances and facilities, so there is no need to interact with staff or other guests once you arrive. The cabins are fully self-contained, so BYO food and drink and you needn't go anywhere.
Don't forget our fresh Spring Water, fresh air, views and the space to wander and relax. No TV signal, so you can choose to unplug from the news cycle if you choose :)
We look forward to helping you relax and unwind and regroup.

My wife and I dropped up into here for a couple of lazy days doing not much! Very nice tranquil setting with stunning views of the mountain range (it changes across the day of course). The cabin has a...ll we needed to have that easy couple of chill out days. We wandered around the local farm walk and simply relaxed within the local farm and nature. The Blackheath town area is not too far if you need anything or for grabbing anything you may have forgotten. If you are keen to get away and get disconnected do it!

Blue Mountains Views at Eco Woolshed was an awesome getaway that I would highly recommend to family members and friends. A beautiful location with stunning views. The cabin itself had great facilities..., we were supplied with everything we needed. There were lots of great options for bushwalks and astonishing lookouts in the surrounding area. The service provided by the host Marion was fantastic, couldn't of asked for anything better.

Absolutely loved staying at the Woolshed, the photos don’t do it justice. It was off the beaten track but the accom had everything you need to settle in for a couple of nights. The valley is absolutel...y stunning and so many walks and areas to explore close by. We spent our days chasing waterfalls and doing different walks. Would definitely recommend heading to Lincoln lookout for amazing views 👌 Thanks Marion for all of your suggestions and for hosting us.

My husband & I provide eco friendly holiday accommodation on our grazing property in Kanimbla Valley. Woolshed Cabins has been running successfully since Dec 2000 and is located on 250 acres of grazing land that has been in the same family since original settlement in early 1900s. We love interacting with guests from all over the world or from just around the corner. Love sharing that moment when guests arrive and see our amazing views!

Scenic Walk On Property Meet Horses And See The Views
Feel free to walk around our 250 acre property. Take in the amazing views of the valley and mountain cliffs. Wander by the creek and see if you can spot the wombat holes. Walk along our private country roads and meet a horse or two.
Visit The Horses Around The Property
The Eco Woolshed is adjoined by a working stable, with horses all around the surrounding paddocks. Take a walk around the property and say hi to the friendly horses that you find. You can even walk up the hill behind the property to find dairy cows and a pretty amazing spot for a sunset. So grab the picnic kit (supplied at the cabin) and a bottle of champers and enjoy the stunning light that adorns sunset in this valley.

Horse Riding
Our rides take place in the Centennial Glen area of the Kanimbla Valley, with fantastic views of the Blue Mountains escarpments. You ride in open paddocks, through natural bushland and over magnificent mountainside horse trails.
Riding groups are small, allowing you to better enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful valley.

Grab A Book And Some Tunes In Blackheath
When you arrive in Blackheath, you absolutely must stop in town and check out all the town has to offer. It's a quaint little strip, with plenty of antique shops and cafes to explore. For us, we couldn't go past a visit to the Little Lost Bookshop for a few good reads to keep us occupied. Into music? Check out the Hat Hill Gallery next door to pick up a few records.
Mountain Bike Trails And Hanging Rock
Turn onto Ridgewell Road, off Great Western Highway Blackheath. Use the tracks and trails or maybe ride out to Hanging Rock (8kms). Beautiful at sunrise:)
Sunrise At Govetts Leap
When visiting the Blackheath area, you absolutely cannot miss the sunrise at Govett's Leap. The Govett's Leap lookout is a large lookout that looks directly east across the mountains, so is the perfect spot to catch the sunrise. Given its easy access (there is a car park at the lookout), it can get relatively busy so make sure you arrive early to get the best view. With that said, there are plenty of vantage points and you can't go wrong here.
Cliff Top Trail
This energetic cliff top walk takes you from Govetts Leap to Evans lookout. You will be rewarded with some of the most beautiful and scenic views in all of the Blue Mountains. Be sure to keep watch for native birdlife, wildflowers, and many of lookouts along the way.
As the sun shines from the east, this is the ideal walk to warm up on a cold winters morning.
Appreciate the beauty of the windswept heathland and the stunning she-oaks, banksias and mallee scrub. Make sure you pack your lunch, as Evan’s Lookout is the perfect spot to enjoy a picnic before the return walk.

Waterfall At The Pool Of Siloam
It can be tough finding a family-friendly waterfall to visit, particularly when your eldest is 3 years old and doesn't quite understand that you can't just jump off any rock you choose! So if you are looking for something that is (relatively) family-friendly, or if you are just down for an easy waterfall that you won't break your back trying to get to, look no further than the Pool of Siloam.
Begin by heading to the Gordon Falls Lookout and find the track markings. The descent to the pool and waterfall is well-maintained, with paved stairs for almost the entire track. The track gets progressively steeper as you descend, however, it's more than manageable. All up, it takes about 10 min to get to the pool.
Arriving at the pool, you will find a gorgeous waterfall that's about ten or so metres high, cascading into a stunning pool that you can swim in. It's unbelievably beautiful.
