CABIN DETAILS
3 bedroom cabin has 1 queen bed, 1 double bed and 2 single beds (not bunks).
Our cabins are designed to be eco friendly and have a uniquely Australian feel in their design. Lots of timber has been used in their construction. They both have amazing views of the Blue Mountains escarpment. Opportunities to see horses and also native wildlife and birdlife.
Guest access
You will have access to an entire cabin. Please note that our tariff reflects how many guests are occupying the cabin. If you are booking as a couple, then we begin with a base rate with additional tariff for extra guests you invite. We feel this is fairer to a couple than if 2 or 3 couples book the cabin together, as only one of the bedrooms needs to be occupied. You do not need to share with anyone you do not know! You will have full access to a large yard and a gas BBQ on your own deck. own private entrances.

We stayed there for 3 nights and it was such a great long weekend.
The place was perfect for hanging out and getting away from everything. Quiet still nights and misty mornings listening to kookaburr...as while drinking my tea.
Marion is a fantastic host and made our stay welcoming and relaxed.
My boys loved adventuring around the massive property, building a dam in the creek, chatting to the local horse riders, toasting marshmallows at the fire pit and hanging out in their loft bedroom.
We'll definitely be coming back, and next time we'll bring friends.

We had an incredible stay at the Woolshed. What a beautiful location, surrounded by the mountains and green rolling fields. The toddlers loved looking at the horses and we even spotted kangaroos early... in the morning. The house was beautiful, cosy and clean and Marion was an excellent host, meeting us upon arrival, and being quick to respond to any text messages.
Thank you for an unforgettable stay, we hope to be back soon!

A beautiful property and view, great for young kids, the house is very unique, with lots of character. And even in the middle of winter it was toasty warm! Marion was a great host, providing us with all the local information. Will be staying again!

My husband & I provide eco friendly holiday accommodation on our grazing property in Kanimbla Valley. Woolshed Cabins has been running successfully since Dec 2000 and is located on 250 acres of grazing land that has been in the same family since original settlement in early 1900s. We love interacting with guests from all over the world or from just around the corner. Love sharing that moment when guests arrive and see our amazing views!

Horse Riding
Our rides take place in the Centennial Glen area of the Kanimbla Valley, with fantastic views of the Blue Mountains escarpments. You ride in open paddocks, through natural bushland and over magnificent mountainside horse trails.
Riding groups are small, allowing you to better enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful valley.

Mountain Biking Hanging Rock Lookout
Turn onto Ridgewell Road, off Great Western Highway Blackheath. Use the tracks and trails or maybe ride out to Hanging Rock (8kms). Beautiful at sunrise:)
Cliff Top Trail
This energetic cliff top walk takes you from Govetts Leap to Evans lookout. You will be rewarded with some of the most beautiful and scenic views in all of the Blue Mountains. Be sure to keep watch for native birdlife, wildflowers, and many of lookouts along the way.
As the sun shines from the east, this is the ideal walk to warm up on a cold winters morning.
Appreciate the beauty of the windswept heathland and the stunning she-oaks, banksias and mallee scrub. Make sure you pack your lunch, as Evan’s Lookout is the perfect spot to enjoy a picnic before the return walk.

Wentworth Falls
The track to the falls is short but steep. Leave from the Wentworth Falls picnic area and follow the track past two lookouts before descending 200 steps to the cliff edge at Fletchers lookout. Spend some time marvelling at the water cascading 100m to the valley floor before tackling the steps back.
