Its arched coach entrance makes this building a feature of Yass Street.

PLEASE NOTE
The Merino Café trades from 7am to 4pm seven days a week. Because the apartment is directly above the café, café noise may be heard during these hours.

We provide all linen, towels, pillows, and blankets along with a well- stocked pantry with your everyday cooking items and condiments. The apartment has a washing machine, full-size fridge, oven, microwave, smart TV, DVD player, and WIFI. We also have a selection of DVD's and board games.

We love the space we have created for our guests and we ask that you leave our little apartment as you found it, clean and tidy.

APARTMENT DETAILS
This beautiful historic building was established in 1870, so structural renovations were limited. Due to this, the ceiling height in the bathroom is low. It's one of her quirky little features that makes her a little different. However, a basin, vanity, and mirror are also located in the toilet area for guests over 6ft 3ins (190cm).

DINNER OPTIONS:
We would like you to note before you travel your dinner options:

For dinner options our local petrol station sells some food supplies for home cooking, they are open until 7pm. The Bistro which is located next door to the accommodation in our country pub serves meals until 8 pm.

The Gunning Butcher Shop is open Mon-Fri 10am to 6:30pm and Saturday 8am to 1pm. Not only do they stock quality meats, but they also stock local products from around our region.

If you are travelling from Sydney direction the last stop for a Supermarket on your way into Gunning is in Goulburn.

If you are travelling from Melbourne direction your last stop for a Supermarket on your way into Gunning is in Yass.

The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking.

The Merino Cafe located below the accommodation is open from 7 am everyday, excluding some public holidays serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, homemade cakes, slices, tea, and coffee....

I own the Merino Cafe in the little country town of Gunning NSW which I absolutely adore! We have been serving our home-made country meals, breakfast, house baked sweets, cakes, slices and scones for the last 13 years. We also have accommodation in our heritage listed building called The Merino Cafe Accommodation. I love travelling, the beach, Island escapes, snorkeling, taking short trips in Australia and I love my international travel too.
