We ended up going for a swim in their stretch of the river twice daily while we were there. We loved exploring the properly, watching the sunset over the mountains and vibing out with zero phone reception. What a way to bring in the new year, we will definitely be back!

Milky Way And Beyond
Our views across the night sky are unrivalled, with zero light pollution, you can see the Milky Way, and beyond.
The Murrumbidgee River
The naturally beautiful river has many undisturbed pockets and is home to a variety of native flora and fauna species. The river is also home to a number of diverse ecosystems and indigenous plant and animal species, some of which are endangered. Maybe you will even see the shy platypus.
Fishing The Murrumbidgee River
Throw a line in the Murrumbidgee River that flows through our property. And if you are lucky enough to catch a trout there is an outdoor BBQ to cook your catch on (please note a NSW recreational fishing licence is required).

Here are some details about the adventures nearby. Refer to the map for their location.

Snow Fields River Access And Natural Beauty
Soak up nature with your own private river access. The bush property has the beautiful Murrumbidgee River flowing through it. Ideal for swimming and kayaking in the warmer months, or bush walks along the river banks.
Chasing Rainbows And Golden Lights In Mount Kosciuszko
Chasing rainbows and golden lights on the stunning windy roads of Mount Kosciuszko national park while enjoying a hot cuppa and treats from the halfway caravan.
Snow Shoeing
Braving the bad forecast and low visibility, we enjoyed a small snowshoe hike in the Snowy Mountains.

Snow Sports At Selwyn Snow Resort
Selwyn Resort is considered the best for first timers by providing progressive terrain, working your way across the mountain from beginner slopes to intermediate and advanced trails. You can hire everything you need in the local town of Adaminaby which is a 15 minute drive away.

Thermal Pools
Yarrangobilly Caves thermal pool, fed by a natural spring, is a magical swimming spot that's easily combined with a picnic and walk in the Yarrangobilly area of Kosciuszko National Park
South Glory Cave
We loved exploring South Glory Cave like we were little explorers discovering this stunning underworld feature by ourselves. It was fun running through high winds and rain to access the cave's entrance. Yarrangobilly is probably the highlight of northern Kosciuszko National Park, a place where you can explore jaw-dropping caves on your own or with a guide. Best of all, you can swim in the thermal pool all year round.
