Additional Information

We're Seasonal - Open May through September, Wednesday through Saturday nights!

Imagine deer grazing on the grass within feet of you, a majestic eagle soaring above you, and waking up to the sounds of baby birds chirping for their breakfast. Our "glamorous camping" wall tent offers the chance to experience pure tranquility. Perfect for two adults (must be 21 or older) to spend quality time surrounded by nature, all in the comfort of a queen-sized bed. Plenty of extra blankets and a small space heater are provided to take the chill out of the air if needed.

A perfect romantic couples-getaway! Anniversaries and Honeymooners welcome. An ideal "Writers Retreat"; curl up with a good book, or write that bestselling novel you've been putting off! A refreshing spot for bicyclists and joggers traversing the island to rejuvenate!

Once you've settled in, guests can feel free to roam the private 3-acre sustainable property. Explore the woods, stroll through our organic vegetable garden, grapevines, and fruit trees; admire the large flower garden and mingle with the chickens. Be sure to experience the hot outdoor rain shower!

Begin your morning sipping a cup of coffee from your cozy tent deck. Cook up some farm-fresh eggs, compliments of our chickens! Spend the day visiting our many seaside towns, and gather up your dinner for the evening. Then bring it back and cook up a tasty dinner in the fully stocked outdoor communal kitchen, eating out under the stars. We provide a large teak table under a covered pergola. Relax outside at night by a blazing campfire (burn-ban permitting) and listen to the hooting owls calling through the trees. S'mores anyone?

We love games! The small cabinet in the wall tent has Backgammon, Scrabble, Dominoes, playing cards, and well as board games. And we have yard games too! Cornhole, Giant Jenga, Molkky, Yardzee & Farkle to name a few!

We live in the quiet, rural town of Greenbank conveniently located in the center of Whidbey Island. Just 14 miles north of the Clinton ferry dock. Easy access to Hwy 525, minutes to Greenbank Farms, five minutes into Freeland, and 20 minutes to Langley or Coupeville. Oak Harbor is 25 miles north.

Free Island Transit buses run daily on Hwy 525. Whidbey-Seatac Shuttle provides transportation to and from SeaTac Airport. The new Paine Field Airport in Everett is now available as well!

This property requires all guests to be over 21 years of age. Reservation must be made by and for the guests that are staying. We do not accept 3rd party reservations made for someone else.

There is a 2nd rental tent on the property, which may be available for your friends! If otherwise rented, you may be sharing the outdoor amenities with 2 other like-minded guests. Shared spaces include kitchen, fire pit, pergola, and potty-ing shed.

Check-in time is 3 pm - 8 pm. Check-out is 11 am. Quiet time is 10 pm-7 am. Please respect these set times. Any additional visitors must be pre-approved by host. The property does not allow children, infants, or pets - even if just visiting. No exceptions will be made.

Absolutely no video equipment of any kind will be allowed to be set up, out of respect for the other guests. Cellphone photos are allowed and even encouraged!

The wall tents are amazing tents! But guests are ultimately camping, so the hosts ask guests to please come with happy camper expectations. Dress warm; island temperatures can sometimes be 10 degrees cooler than Seattle, so guests should dress in layers and bring warmer clothes for the evening time.

The bathroom facility is a very clean upscale shabby-chic outhouse that we call the "Potty-ing Shed". It has a sustainable rain-water sink, with solar-powered outdoor lighting.

Experience a Hot outdoor shower! Bring along some flip-flops.

A small amount of firewood is provided. The hosts ask guests to bring more if they enjoy a long evening out by the fire, or additional wood can be purchased. Campfires are contingent on county regulations. Host will enforce all burn-ban restrictions in place at time of stay.

There is no TV at this property.

Sorry, we do not allow children, infants or pets. No exceptions.

Be kind to the environment and take care of the surroundings.

- Quiet time is between 10pm and 7am.

This was my first ever glamping experience. As someone who loves nature but isn't an avid camping enthusiast, I didn't know what to expect. However, Ron and Denise's setup delivered all of the comfort...s of a full cabin property AND the tranquility that comes with being in nature.

Ron and Denise are truly experts at what they do and make their guests feel so at home and welcome. The space is full of small and lovely touches; they left us fresh chicken eggs to cook with, some mead from a local brewery, and delicious chocolates. Their property has everything you could ever need: a full-sized, fully-equipped kitchen, a tidy outdoor shower, firewood for s'mores, and even a tiki bar.

Their space was also easy to find and central to activities but still felt off-the-grid and remote. This glamping tent was so beautiful and tranquil that we never wanted to leave!

We live in Greenbank, on beautiful Whidbey Island, WA. We love spending time outdoors in our own little paradise we've created, and we want to share it with others! When we're not playing, mowing, cleaning, gardening or watering, we are self-employed and make a wooden board game called "Pegs and Jokers". We try and practice sustainability as much as possible, and love the challenge to use reclaimed material in everything we build!
