Bright and open with light wood & tall ceilings for a sunny feel. 560 sqft Open floor plan. Master loft sleeps 2 on the memory foam Queen mattress. Other loft has a firmer full spring mattress with a foam topper. Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. Nice bathroom with shower. All green products used! Private yard, deck w/ table and barbeque plus a place to relax. A newly installed heat pump keeps the home cozy & comfortable. The fire ring in the yard will be fun to relax around after a fun-filled day around the island. High-speed internet provided! The kitchen has a large toaster oven (can fit 2 15" pizzas), microwave, 2 burner cooktop, pots & pans, plates, silverware, glasses & mugs, cooking utensils, coffee maker, french press, fridge & freezer, eating nook, couch, bathroom, TV w/DVD & Netflix, outdoor patio, fire pit, bbq & more! Private yard, fully fenced. The firepit is up the hill in the yard (contact us before your stay and we will provide firewood).

The Woodpecker cabin was amazing! Our friends are from the south and have never stayed on the islands of WA before. So we HAD to show them the experience. The woodpecker cabin was just perfect! It was... the right size for four adults and provided us with everything we needed. It was really cool getting to experience island life in the PNW by taking a ferry and needing to be prepared before going! Take note, there is only one store on the island and it doesn't have everything so bring snacks and treats before hand! The cabin was so warm cozy and welcoming and Anya was so attentive when we needed them!

Once you drive on into Adrift Cafe, you're welcomed with pleasant servers, clever drinks and quite the spin on traditional seafood dishes. Try the crab dip and a margarita – trust me.

Guemes Island General Store is one of two places to find bites to eat. The best part is that the general store has beer on tap as well as wine and tons of dessert options. In addition to their drinks, desserts, and general grocery options, they have a full menu with amazing seafood and non-seafood options.

Pelican Bay Books & Coffee house is one of my favorite spaces in Anacortes. It's a great place to discover a new book and grab a cup of Joe. There are SO many books of ALL different kinds on gorgeous cedar shelving.

Kelly's Point was beautiful at golden hour and the perfect way to end the night. A short drive from the general store, it's a beautiful place to stop and take in the views and see wildlife.

Stroll Downtown Anacortes

Downtown Anacortes is a great place to spend a day getting drinks, snacks, or exploring the little shops along Commercial Ave. Stop in at the cute record store, one of the antique stores, or at Pelican Books – these are must-visit spots on this beautiful stroll.
