Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Tiny house with tons of natural light. Dramatic sunsets & big skies with water views down the Guemes Channel. Large covered deck with outdoor lounging & a hot tub for your enjoyment. Fully equipped house with mini-fridge, oven, two burner induction stove, microwave & more. Ladder steps lead up to a cozy king bed w/side shelves equipped with USB outlets. Super cute bathroom w/large tiled shower to enjoy the views from. The space is small yet well thought out. There are steep steps/ladders going up to the sleeping area. Please be prepared for this. There is a king bed up there, two end tables with USB outlets for charging your phones. There is also an alarm clock. There are roosters in the neighborhood so we have provided earplugs as well. Off-street parking is available. The driveway is steeper. If you don’t want to pull down the driveway, please make sure you are out of the road so the neighbors can pass by.

If you're looking for a relaxing weekend either solo or with a partner, this is the spotttt. I have recently falling in love with Guemes Island for so many reasons, and the eagles nest just made it be...tter. The hot tub with a view and having a covered deck in the rain was everything my heart desired. This stay was everything my heart needed this last week.

Guemes Mountain Hike

Guemes Mountain Trail is one of a few hikes on the island and is perfect for a midweek adventure. There are 360-degree views from the top and, on a clear day, you can see all the beautiful Washington mountains. It was quiet, and just the right level of workout for a light hike.

Being such a small community, the general store is the only spot that people really gather, but it's a blast and even more so when there is live folk music. This little band was so cute and definitely having a lot of fun.

Paddle Boarding In The Bay

This was our top choice for paddleboarding on Guemes. There is public access to the beach and ample parking, as well as a bathroom – big tick. It was super easy to blow up the board on the grass and launch right by the cars. It's on the northern end of the island, and I highly recommend driving around the island after!

Snowboard, snowshoe, or ski through the North Cascades under the stunning Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan volcanoes. Mount Baker ski area is known to get some of the most snow in the United States and the snowshoe to Artist Point is the most popular in Washington!
