Dear lee and andrew
We loved staying in your cosy place on top of the hill overlooking the lush paddock beneath on stilts. The place had all the amenities that we needed and more including the binocul...ars to spot dear in the morning. The fireplace in particular was just perfect for keeping the cabin nice and cosy and the deck with the stunning views was fantastical. We also really liked the colour of the wooden interior including the stilt themed features. You have us a great recommendation to see the waterfall loop circuit which was beautiful and the walk around the property was great too. Thankyou for allowing your place to be dog friendly waldo absolutely loved coming on a dogcation! The fog looks like a big cloud when we looked outside the window it was like a white big cloud which was just so spectacular.

Our trip to Gippsland was just what we needed to unwind from a busy week. Lee and Andrew were lovely hosts - friendly and responsive. The cottage was cosy, had everything we needed and had an amazing v...iew to wake up to. Yarragon and surrounding country side is beautiful with rolling hills and great elevated spots to take in the views. Our highlights were going into Yarragon town, having breakfast and coffees at Cafe Piccolo and checking out the local art. We then went to Uralla Nature Reserve with our little pup and did a few of the citcuit walks through the forrest. Before heading back to the cottage we got some dinner supplies from Gippsland Food and Wine and retired to the cottage and watched the world go by. Thanks for having us Lee and Andrew.

Try Local Produce From Gippsland Food Wine
This local shop showcase some of Gippsland’s finest produce. We purchased wine and cheese and other local goodies to enjoy back in the accommodation at sunset. Gippsland Food and Wine has also a tearoom open from 7:30 am daily
Wonder Around Yarragon Village
We took a stroll around Yarragon Village on Saturday Morning. Grab a takeaway coffee at the local cafe Piccolo and wander around the local market and shops.
Picnic And Walk At Mount Worth State Park
We grabbed some delicious sandwiches from Gippsland Food & Wine before heading to Mount Worth State Park. Lovely picnic at the Moonlight Creek Picnic Area then walked the 1.8km Giant's circuit.
Bushwalking
Located on the western rim of the Strzelecki Ranges, Mount Worth State Park includes 1040 hectares of Mountain Ash forest and native bush. There are several walks within Mount Worth State Park that range in distance. The walks explore a diverse range of native vegetation.
The National Park is just a 15-minute drive from the Cottages. It offers rainforest walking trails and scenic views of Gippsland as well as views across the Latrobe Valley to the Great Dividing Range. Keep you eyes open and you might spot a wombat, possum, platypus, crimson rosella, lyrebird or all of the above.

Narracan Falls
Narracan Falls is easily accessible, just a few meters from the car park. A picnic area is also available! Due to the heavy rains in the past few weeks, the waterfall was huge. Gorgeous!
The Grand Strzelecki Track
Stand in awe under forest giants, or explore a lost world of ancient rainforest and not hear a sound except the birdsong of lyrebirds. Walk through rainforests so rare, most people have never heard of it.
