Glamping Fun in the Coromandel
Adventure in Coromandel, The Coromandel, NZ
Having now explored many of the North Island's incredible regions, we have to say that the Coromandel is one of our favourites. Driving along the long and winding roads, surrounded by beautiful views and lookouts, we were in awe of our final destination. This cosy glamping cabin, which is nestled away in Shelly Beach and overlooking the bay, is a place where you'll find your own little piece of tranquility. After settling in and making ourselves at home, we sat on the outside deck as the sun went down and watched the local herd of cows basking in the field opposite. It was the perfect way to start our trip.
As the rain moved in the following morning, we found the Beachside Glamping Pod the perfect place to hide from the weather and stay dry. We spent the whole day cosied up together, watching films and playing card games. It was the perfect opportunity to enjoy each other's company without the daily distractions of the outside world.
With so many things to do in the local area, you'll be spoiled for choice as to how to spend your time in this epic corner of the Coromandel. Take a walk around the iconic Coromandel Town, re-connect with nature by visiting the Big Kauri Tree, or just visit one of the many nearby lookouts. You'll soon feel rejuvenated after a few days at the Beachside Glamping Pod....
