Adventure in Mount Toolebewong, Yarra Valley, VIC, AU

I’ve dreamt of living a simple life, so when our weekend getaways come, we want them to be nothing short of simple living and relaxing. We truly found this at the cabin, and we felt it as soon as we walked through the front door. We arrived in the dark to warm lights glowing through the cabin windows, illuminating the timber features and simple, elegant decor. The next few days were spent exploring the area, fishing, hiking and reconnecting with the surrounding nature. It was awesome to ditch the phone and connect. There’s a few hidden gems around the cabin, places to sit outside with the ducks wandering around. We loved every part of the cabin and came away feeling very refreshed....

Steavenson Falls

Located near Marysville, the walk is very easy to get to the bottom of the falls, and there are some more challenging tracks to hike to the top of the falls and beyond, full of amazing views....

Trout & Salmon farm

Buxton trout and salmon farm located about a half hour drive from the cabin, it's a fun place to catch your dinner or have a walk and feed the fish....

The Black Spur

The black spur drive cuts through the lush forest landscapes of the Yarra Ranges, linking the Yarra Valley with the mountain areas around Marysville. I couldn’t help myself, I had to whip out the skateboard and bomb a hill....

Rainforest Gallery

A short walk in the forest, with a 15-meter high walkway in the canopy, it was a great spot to take a stroll and take in the natural surrounds...

Innocent Bystander

A cellar door and a great place for lunch and a cheeky wine....

Redwood Forest

The redwoods are an awesome spot to explore and take photos, the symmetry of the forest makes for some awesome compositions and its a very popular spot for photographers and explorers alike....
