The Pearl of Gippsland

We needed to escape somewhere remote and quiet to reconnect with ourselves, and Murphy's at Winswood exceeded our expectations.

Less than two and a half hours away from Melbourne, we found this incredible property in the middle of farmland, surrounded by wildlife and our host Alison's friendly dogs who welcomed us on our arrival.

Our days were simply chill, finding that tranquillity we missed in our busy lives in the city. We did a couple of walks during the mornings and then took the evenings to relax in the front yard and enjoy the fireplace. And the beds were top-notch (really comfy) just saying!

Port Albert is a must, we really loved our time there with its coastal vibes. And you can't miss Toms Cap Vineyard, no more than a 10-minute drive from the house, if you like a good vino. Nothing beats opening a bottle of red next to the fireplace (the outside one is a winner) and starting to wonder about future projects and life.
.
Also, it was awesome to ditch our phones and connect with each other, since there was no mobile service at all. A much-needed escape.
