Lakehouse Retreat on the Oregon Coast

As someone who has been all over the world and stayed in countless accommodations, it's not often that I am completely blown away, but this Lakefront Retreat was everything I hoped it would be and more.

As I drove up the mountain and down the gravel road, the home came into sight and I was soon treated to stunning views of the lake and the beautiful private dock. I can't emphasize enough how beautiful and relaxing this retreat is; it's the pinnacle of an Oregon summer. With plenty of warm breezes and fresh dips in the lake, this ended up being my favorite retreat I've had the pleasure of staying at and I can't wait to return!

Having our own private dock provided easy access to the lake. We kayaked and swam all day and this was easily the highlight of our trip!

We made our way into town for breakfast and stopped at the most charming little diner, Mom's Kitchen. Friendly staff, clean, and you can tell many of the people were regulars. The portions were large and the food was delicious!

The morning started off overcast so we made our way to the coast and spent the day in Bandon. As the day progressed, the clouds started to burn off and we decided to stay for sunset. The sunset rays and golden light was absolutely magical. I highly recommend checking out the Face Rock Scenic vVewpoint and the "Wizards Hat" if you're in the area!
