Serendipity at Pointy Bird Lake: Where Relaxation Meets Adventure

Staying at the Pointy Bird near Rotorua was a serene escape. The cozy cabin ambiance was heightened by the crackling fireplace, its warmth enveloping us on the chilly evenings. Our friendly neighbors, a pair of charming llamas, added a touch of whimsy to the experience.
From our cabin, the view of the nearby lake was breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. It felt like a glimpse into nature's untouched beauty.
The hike to Mount Tarawera was a surreal adventure, resembling the Martian landscape with its rugged terrain and otherworldly colors. We marveled at nature's artistry. Post-hike, we rejuvenated at Kerosene Creek, where natural warm water pools offered perfect relaxation. The steam and forest surroundings created a soothing atmosphere.
On our last day, we visited Putāruru Blue Springs, mesmerized by the crystal-clear waters. Nature's beauty here was beyond words. Our stay at Pointy Bird was a tranquil, memorable journey through Rotorua's natural wonders....
