Country Charm
Adventure in Central Tilba, South Coast, NSW, AU
We journeyed far down south to escape the chaos of the city. Arriving at night, we woke to the rolling hills and sounds of the distant ocean through the cabin skylight. The sky lit with pinks as the sun rose while we cozied down with a freshly ground coffee and homemade granola left for us by the hosts.
Providing us with everything we could possibly need, we felt completely at home in a cozy and intimate space. We ventured into the historic town of Tilba and stumbled across their weekly farmers market. Fresh produce and friendly locals greeted us where we tried out cheese from the cheese factory, homemade chocolate and fresh milk.
Hosting an array of gift and craft stores, we spent the afternoon wandering the town, later returning to the cabin to cook our dinner over an open fire. We relaxed to the sound of frogs and a crackling fire, while the stars lit up the sky....

This cute little country town is like stepping back in time, from the vintage telephone box to the old fashion petrol pumps.

We made a short drive to find the Australia Rock located in Narooma, only 21 minutes from our cabin. Unique rock formations line this side of the coast, and although this was the purpose of our visit, we stumbled upon a herd of seals basking in the sunshine.
