Mountain Retreat - cosy escape with incredible views

Adventure in Ohakune, Ruapehu, NZ
There's something about the mountains that feels like hitting the refresh button. This past weekend, I stayed at this modern, spacious home on the edge of town, offering stunning mountain views. It was the perfect cosy retreat - an open-plan layout, indoor fireplace, and hot tub made it feel like a little slice of heaven.

The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to cook delicious meals while enjoying the views and relaxing by the fire. After a day of snowboarding at Turoa, we soaked in the hot tub, unwinding and soaking up the peaceful surroundings.

The home was also dog-friendly, with a fenced area for our pups and beautiful walks by the nearby river. This place is the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, with thoughtful touches that make it a truly special mountain escape. I can’t wait to return!
