Parachilna at Metung

Nestled away in what feels like a treehouse paradise is Parachilna Villa at Metung. It is the perfect family getaway to unwind. There's a children's playground just below the balcony, a pool and spa. Just a short walk across the road are the boats docked at the water's edge. Parachilna is located less than 10 minutes from the best Metung has to offer, including the hot springs, the Metung Hotel and a leisurely stroll along Shaving Point. The sun rises directly in front of the balcony in the mornings - a lovely spot to enjoy a cuppa and open the doors to let the morning air in. An absolute Oasis. We missed it the moment we left.

A beautiful easy walk by the water, where you can watch the swans by the pier or the pelicans lingering around the fishermen for a chance at a fresh fish. The beautiful white railed walking paths make it even more picturesque. You can watch the boats sailing past and learn about local history along the way.
The perfect way to relax in a nature based experience overlooking the Gippsland Lakes. Metung Hot Springs boasts a variety of geothermal pools where you can pick and choose to your liking. Most have stunning views, some more for socialising and others for if you prefer some quiet time.
Enjoy a meal and a drink on the waterfront at the Metung Hotel. With incredible food and views, you can watch the fisherman come in and if you're lucky you might even get to see the local fishing competition as they bring their fish to a large tank right outside.
