Hi, I'm Ella

We are Ella and Ryan, a Kiwi/Aussie duo also known as @_lapofthemap. We are digital creators that have been travelling Australia full time for 1.5 years in our little home on wheels! Ryan & I are avid nomads, so when the pandemic hit and the borders closed, we took this as an opportunity to jump in a van, and explore and showcase what Australia has to offer!

Since leaving for this trip in early 2021, we have explored almost every corner of the country, while having the chance to broaden our photography skills in new and ever-changing environments. We have also managed to grow our @_lapofthemap travel community to where it is today, and are so grateful that we get to inspire our audience by capturing and sharing our favourite memories around Australia.

Our goal is to encourage others to get outdoors, embrace new experiences and make the most of living in this beautiful country. We also love the idea of encouraging people to take the time to slow down to rest and recharge, and what better place to do that than a Riparide stay.

While we primarily work in travel and destination photography, we also shoot people, lifestyle, accomodation and products, and have been featured in The Weekend Australian Magazine.
