Later into the afternoon we headed to the Mt Buller summit carpark, grabbed a day tent and found a sweet spot on the ridge to watch the sun go down with the most magnificent pastel purples I have ever seen. Sunrise or sunset this spot is perfect for 360 degree views with the mountain to ourselves....
