Mount Banks Summit Hike

Hike in Blue Mountains National Park, NSW
100% Recommended
If you drive for about 50 minutes along the Bells Line of Road, you will find Mount Banks, a not so popular walk compared to others in the Blue Mountains but which is well worth the detour in our opinion! The walk starts at the Mount Banks Picnic area. There are two options, a track via the road, or one via the ridge. We decided to go via the ridge for more epic views and were not disappointed! The track is steep at times but never too challenging and goes from stunning cliffs to a tall forest of monkey gums at the top. We loved the variety of landscapes and the flora and fauna we were able to observe along the way!
